Slide Show: A Day Out At Worthing

  1. I loved the white handrail with contrasting black post, and the clocks on the building. I haven’t done any slideshows in awhile but have probably done several dozen over the years. I believe that aside from the the slides/photos themself, the biggest factor for a good show is the soundtrack . I think yours was an excellent fit with your photos.

And in case it’s another three months before you post again, here’s wishing you the merriest of Christmases and a blessed 2020!

    1. Hi David,
thank you so much for your lovely comment . I’ve been neglecting my photography and postings for ages because of my own health issues and difficult, very stressful , on- going situations with my disabled/ learning difficulties son. Things just get harder to handle the older I get (now82), but the good Lord gets me through.
I did a series of slide shows a few years back but never thought to post any of them on my blog, so it’s a convenient way of showing I’m still here and not bowing out altogether.
The Fats Waller song is one of my favourites and I used to sing it in my amateur singing days with a couple of Bands. I discovered this marvelous piano version on line and wrote to the pianist to ask permission to use it cos I was afraid of copyright laws! He was really generous and kind. It’s called ‘I’ve Got a Feeling I’m Falling’.
I wish you and your family a blessed Christmas too David – and thank you so much for your continued interest in spite of my terrible neglect !
